Job Description

This role will be integral in supporting both deal execution and post-investment activities, such as  tracking borrower financial performance, ensuring adherence to loan covenants, and managing weekly performance dashboards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance or accounting, with familiarity in investment operations and private credit investment structures.

Deal Execution & Post-Investment Monitoring:

  • Support investment work streams including the preparation and execution of legal documentation.
  • Oversee and monitor borrower financial performance, ensuring the timely and accurate submission of financial statements and other relevant documentation in line with investment terms.
  • Track and enforce compliance loan covenants, managing follow-ups on condition precedent and subsequent requirements. Collaborate with borrowers, legal counsel, and internal teams to resolve compliance issues or documentation gaps.

Performance Reporting & Dashboard Management:

  • Extract and compile financial and loan book data for portfolio companies.Prepare detailed weekly dashboards that track key performance indicators(KPIs), portfolio performance, and other relevant metrics for internal and investor reporting.

Fund Finance Management:

  • Collaborate with finance team on fund accounting and financial reporting. Assist in managing portfolio cash flows, including overseeing capital calls, distributions, and loan repayment schedules.

Reporting & Process Improvement:

  • Prepare comprehensive internal and external reports, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with fund objectives. Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance reporting accuracy.

Skill Sets and Requirements

Experience:

  • 2-5 years in operations or middle-office within an investment fund or financial institution.
  • Experience in financial statement analysis, accounting, or auditing (Big4 background preferred).
  • Familiarity with private credit investment structures, debt financing, and loan covenants.

Education:

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related. Professional certifications (CPA, CFA) is a plus.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in Excel (financial modelling, pivot tables) and PowerPoint.
  • Programming knowledge or experience with financial tools (e.g., Python,SQL) is a plus.
